Lions Health, the global creative festival for the health communications industry, announced on December 17th that Andrew Spurgeon, executive creative director of Langland; and Rob Rogers, general creative director of The Americas and CEO of Sudler, will be the presidents of the selection panel for the awards next year.Spurgeon will chair the jury of Health and Welfare to judge consumer products and education campaigns; and Rogers will evaluate exclusive communications for the attention of health and non-medical professionals. “This festival has a unique role on creativity, and is committed to developing powerful interactions in all areas of health. Accompanied by a talented group of jurors, I will continue under the flag of this important event which recognizes everything that is related to health communication” Rogers said.Next year, the awards presented two new categories: Lions Health Specialist Agency of the Year and Lions Health Specialist Network of the Year. Commenting on the new changes, Philip Thomas, CEO of Lions Festivals, said: “The jury last year set the foundation for the future of the Lions Health Awards by establishing a high standard.
