En Tierras Salvajes (72x60’) is one of the productions the new Contents team at Televisa —led by Isaac Lee and to be launched next Monday July 31 at 7:30pm— is betting on. During the presentation to the media, the producer Salvador Mejía assured that this story adapts to the new way of making TV, with short stories adapted to reality.
The writer Katia Rodríguez that the original one belongs to the Spanish Gema Neira and Ramón Campos, creators of stories like Velvet: “We retro feed from the original one, adapted it to Mexico, made important changes in the story,” he mentioned.
Both the writer and the cast highlighted the importance of putting short stories on the screen, that can be seen on different platforms. “This is interesting because it is shorter, there is no need to include scenes and dialogs to fill in, and people get tired of such long productions. This is perfectly well-written teleseries,” commented the actress and singer Ninel Conde, who will also sing one of the songs in the story.
The lead stars in the production are Cristián de la Fuente, Horacio Pancheri and Diego Olivera, who will fight in the plot for the love of the main character, played by Claudia Álvarez. The adaptation was made by Liliana Abud, Katia Rodríguez and Victoria Orvañanos.
