A+E Networks LatAm: More TV content is produced than ever focused on every taste

César Sabroso, Senior VP of Marketing, Affiliates, PR and Corporate Communications of A+E Networks Latin America, highlighted the importance that a communication medium has as a brand when the user chooses where he wants to spend his time for entertainment. Sabroso participated in the FIAP Face to Face Webinar: Relevance and multiplatform content that offers brand experience, which was moderated by Mara Fernández of PRODU.

“Viewing content in each context makes it unique, content and context today are like yin and yang. Watching a concert on MTV, or a World War II program on the History Channel is unique, the experience is unique in each channel and that is what we sell, it is not the same to see a concert on History, it does not have the same experience as on MTV,” Sabroso said.

He expressed that every day they are making more television content, that although many say that less television is seen, more content is also consumed but on different screens and platforms.

“Many say that less TV is consumed today, that is false, we consume more content than ever. Also on our side we are making more content than ever for it to be consumed in different ways, adapting each product for its specific channel and continuing to provide a brand experience that we have managed to position in each channel,” he said.
