Alexander Marín to head RCN Distribution

Distribution of their own and third-party content will be one of RCN Televisión´s new challenges starting in October, with the start of RCN Distribution´s operations, reported José Antonio de Brigard, president of the company.

Alexander Marín will be heading this new project. He is an executive who is highly recognized in the industry for his extensive career of more than thirty years of experience.

“In addition to being one of the pioneers of independent production in Spanish, Marín knows the market and the industry in Latin America and the US in-depth. Therefore, we are very happy to have a professional with his qualities as head of this new RCN Television project,” added de Brigard.

Marín comes from being in charge of Sony Pictures Television in Latin America, the Hispanic US, and Canada. Now, he will lead RCN Distribution from Miami.

“The television industry is in a time of great change where the interest in great stories and very high-quality content is at its peak. I am sure that with the strengthening and expansion of the RCN Distribution operation, together with the various contents of other production companies that join this project, we will quickly position ourselves as an important provider for multiple platforms in the world,” detailed Marín.
