Apple Inc. is planning to launch its streaming service Apple TV+ for November at a price of US$9.99, as part of a campaign to reach US$50 billion in service sales by 2020, reported Bloomberg.

The company will present a small selection of shows and then will expand its catalog with greater frequency for several months, said people close to Bloomberg who are familiar with this matter and asked not to be identified. Additionally, it is likely that there will be a free test as Apple builds its library.

With this first venture into video subscriptions, Apple is evaluating different launch strategies for their shows. The company would be considering the possibility of offering the first episodes after some programs, followed by weekly deliveries. Netflix tends to launch entire seasons whereas AT&T´s HBO and Disney´s Hulu often launch weekly episodes.

Apple TV + will be launched globally in more than 150 countries.
