Argos: We restructured the company to satisfy the needs of the audiovisual industry in Mexico

The producer and founder of Argos, Epigmenio Ibarra, announced the main changes in the structure of this production company, that include the promotion of Marcela Mejía to Production general director, as well as the change of Argos Media to Headroom, led by Jerry Rodríguez; Argos Servicios is now Caravana Uno and Verónica Velasco is now general director of Argos Contenidos. “Headroom is a company dedicated to the production of new types of formats and have now produced contents like Drunk History and stand up programs for Comedy Central. They are also in charge of the package of our series and other external ones. It will be an agency specialized in the promotion of entertainment products,” explained the directive. The casting direction also suffered changes and is now the direction of Artistic Talent, led by Ignacio Flores where talent is chosen for productions. Argos Noticias, for its part, is now called Original Content Production, under the responsibility of Verónica Velasco. Argos Servicios is now Caravana Uno, where the company´s production services are comprised, “it will be in charge of the Independent Production Center Gabriel García Márquez, and has already began operations. The construction of this center started a year ago and will have 6 equipped recording studios, a warehouse with 25 thousand pieces of costumes, more than 10 thousand meters of furniture, location and construction services.” In contents, he announced that they are already working on Señora Acero 3 and La Doña for Telemundo.
