Azteca 54 Los Angeles celebrates 2nd annual Upfront with great success

Azteca 54 Los Angeles presented its upcoming line-up for the 2013-2014 television season at the 2nd annual Golf Tournament and Upfront programming presentation on Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Golf Club in Palos Verdes Estates.The weather was perfect for the golf tournament and the beautiful backdrop made for a spectacular evening with over 250 advertisers, executives, media and celebrities in attendance for the Upfront presentation.The presentation opened with a skit featuring the talent from Ventaneando that had everyone laughing and introduced the CEO of Azteca America, Martín Breidsprecher who reinforced Azteca America’s commitment of producing more shows in the U.S. as is the case with the two morning shows, El Coffee Break and Entre Nos and the reality musical show, Quiero Ser Grupero now going into its third season. Khaled Abdelwahed, the vice president and general manager, presented the line-up for 2013-2014 season as well as the unique opportunities that the station offers to advertisers with branded entertainment. “We had so much positive feedback on the golf tournament and the presentation and clients expressing that they can’t wait to be back next year,” said Abdelwahed. The night ended with special performances from alumni of La Academia which included Carolina Soto, from La Academia Bicentenario, Samuel Castelán winner of La Academia 5th generation, Cynthia Rodríguez, La Academia 4th generation and most recently host of Quiero Ser Grupero and Yanilen from La Academia 2011 and La Isla.
