Cablevision Systems Corp. announced the addition of MundoFox to its comprehensive line-up of Spanish-language programming. A new national network, MundoFox offers original news and entertainment content, as well as exclusive access to sporting events. Exciting series such as El Capo, Kdabra, Corazones Blindados, and Minuto Para Ganar are among the TV shows on the new network. MundoFox will also feature its signature teleseries, shorter-run series with an emphasis on action-oriented storylines and diverse locations. “MundoFox is a terrific, high-quality, addition to our expanding array of Spanish-language programming. We believe this will be an important new national network featuring fresh, content specifically for Latino audiences, and a perfect complement to our existing Spanish-language programming, notably our flagship iO en español package, which spans more than 45 Spanish-language TV channels. In all, Cablevision customers now have access to more than 50 Spanish-language channels,” said Bradley Feldman, Cablevision’s vice president of Video Product Management. "We are pleased to bring MundoFox to iO TV customers. MundoFox has a diverse roster of quality programming that appeals to the interests of the new Latino viewer,” said Emiliano Saccone, president of MundoFox. MundoFox will be included in iO TV’s Broadcast Basic package and above on channel 29 in The Bronx and Brooklyn, and channel 107 in other portions of Cablevision’s service area.
