Calinos: We bet on reaching Mexico, Brazil, US Hispanic and all the countries in the region

Calinos Entertainment presents in this market three of their dramatic productions: The Girl Named Feriha (187×45´), The Bitter Life (106×45´) and Relationship Status: It’s Complicated (60×45´).Two of the titles mentioned, The Girl Named Feriha and The Bitter Life, have already been purchased by two Latin American companies: Latina from Peru and Albavisión for their channels in Honduras, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Nicaragua. The Girl Named Feriha was also purchased by Monte Carlo TV in Uruguay.Both The Girl Named Feriha and The Bitter Life were aired on Turkey’s Show TV prime time and were number one daily. Meanwhile, Relationship Status: It’s Complicated is currently being broadcast on Show TV’s prime time, where, since their debut, they have been leaders among the audience.Emre Gorentas, International Sales Executive at Calinos Entertainment, commented that Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, together with countries in Central America, are showing interest in the company’s dramas. “Most are seeking finished products. Currently, only Mexico is looking for formats” said the executive.Calinos has its gaze set on big markets in the region: Mexico, Brazil and US Hispanic. “The goal for 2016 is to reach all the countries in the region”, assured Gorentas.The company also distributes films, game show formats and documentaries.
