Canal 22 Internacional: Our goal is to increase original production in US locations

After the series Mexicanos Exitosos, produced in the US two years ago, which had two seasons with a total of 30 episodes, the channel is getting ready to launch {En Ruta T, Tacos, Tortas y Tamales;www.produ.com/television/videos/index.html?Noti=10275} (11×30’) Sunday December 20th at 10:30pm, also made in the US.Nora García, Content manager at Canal 22, told PRODU that with this series they are covering for the first time, the topic of gastronomy in the US. She added that they aim to attract a younger group with a speech that is “fun dynamic and fresh”. She mentioned that they created capsules of this series in Facebook and YouTube to take this young audience to the TV screen.“We have noticed that it is very reassuring that the Hispanic community, mainly the Mexican one, see themselves reflected according to their reality in this type of program. We are exploring how else we can do interesting things to highlight Mexicans. The main goal is to increase original production in US locations”, she expressed.Another project Canal 22 Internacional is working on is the series México Lindo Qué Ritmo (working title) (13×30’). García explained that this project seeks to shed more light on the musical tastes and habits of Mexicans who live in the US: what music genres they prefer, where they get together to consume it, among other aspects.
