Caracol TV: Innovating with cutting-edge contents

“We have attended MIP Cancun for several years and have seen how the market has developed, increasing each year the number of attendants and companies present. This market has acquired great relevance in the global fair tour we do annually,” comments Estefanía Arteaga, International Sales director at Caracol Televisión.

“We address our clients´ needs with our portfolio of dramas, series, documentaries, films and our broad offer of web series. Additionally, we will continue strengthening our production company to continue creating content for third parties, exploring new business models and establishing alliances,” adds Arteaga.

In light of the new needs in the industry, the executive explains that the market is constantly moving and dynamics have changed a great deal. There are new players that implant new game rules. “These new dynamics allow the existence of a greater variety of formats for different platforms in which the consumer seeks new languages and mechanisms to access their contents. The new trends that appear each day have opened the doors to new creative possibilities to which we are responding with our production company and our digital team, adapting to the needs of each territory. In multi-platforms, Caracol Televisión is producing content for open television, and for digital platforms, web series apt for mobile devices, and films and great formats for cinema.”

The productions available in MIP Cancun are: La Reina de Indias y el Conquistador, Amar y Vivir, Los Briceño, El Desafío (original entertainment format), El Hijo del Cacique, Un Bandido Honrado.
