Luis Torres-Bohl, president of Castalia, received the Award for Corporate Leadership in Hispanic Television & Video (Programmer category)

In Corporate Leadership in Hispanic TV and Video (Programmer) the award was for Castalia and it was accepted by Luis Torres-Bohl, its president, who expressed that they are “an amalgamation of cultures and that diversity gives us strength". Torres announced the 15 years of Mexicanal and the launch of their OTT, Europa+ in Latin America.

Tom Montemagno, EVP Programming, and Acquisition at Charter Communications received the award for Leadership in Hispanic TV and Video (Provider), indicating they have 75 Hispanic TV channels on their grid, and only in 2020, they added five signals: Kids Central, ¡HOLA! TV, Inglés Para Todos, Tarima TV, and Hogar from HGVTV.

Karina Dobarro, SVP Multicultural at Horizon Media received the Executive Leadership in Hispanic TV and Video (Media) Award.

Juan Carlos Rodríguez, president of Sports at Univision received the Executive Leadership in Hispanic TV and Video (programmer) Award. He expressed that eight years ago he saw the opportunity to bet on soccer at Univision and today “we can state that we are the home of soccer in the US" and that "this year we represented 55% of the entire soccer audience in the country, regardless of the language".

The Award for Outstanding Achievement in Hispanic Television was for the actor, producer, and director Diego Luna, introduced by Isaac Lee from Exile Content, who highlighted that Luna has made 70 projects for the Latino market and is currently producing a series Bread and Circus, and a comedy series with his production company La Corriente del Golfo for Netflix. Luna expressed that “together we can do many things, we are stronger and speak louder. Borders do not define us and my work belongs to the world”.
