CentroAméricaTV’s special inauguration coverage of Nayib Bukele, El Salvador’s new president on Saturday, June 1, was the highest-rated non-sports Spanish-language cable program in daytime (9am – 4pm), according to comScore.

The event, which aired from 11am–1:30pm, delivered an average audience of 96,000, peaking at 119,000 viewers.

The network also had a strong Sunday performance, when the final game of the Honduran soccer league tournament on June 2 averaged 99,000 Total Viewers from 6–9pm, with a peak audience of 121,000.

“CentroAméricaTV’s ability to consistently outperform networks like Galavisión, Discovery en Español, and ESPN Deportes is a testament to our deep and powerful connection with our audience, who rely on our network to keep them connected to important news and cultural events back home,” said Francisco Giménez, SVP and general manager of Cable Channels for Hemisphere Media Group, Inc.
