Cine Estelar and Cine Nostalgia will air special programming this Sunday May 5th with outstanding films of profound historical significance not available or exhibited anywhere else. The superb selection of titles to be aired by Cine Nostalgia includes: La Paloma (The Dove), starring Medea de Novara, Enrique Herrera, Arturo de Córdova, alongside Miguel Contreras Torres; Caballería del Imperio (The Empire Cavalry), starring Joaquín Pardavé and Julián Soler, alongside Miliza Korjus, Medea de Novara; Juárez y Maximiliano, La Caída de un Imperio (Juárez and Maximiliano, the Fall of an Empire), starring Medea de Novara and Enrique Herrera, alongside Alfredo del Diestro, and Julio Villareal.Among the special productions to be aired on Cine Nostalgia are La Batalla de Puebla, El Cinco de Mayo, Noticias del Imperio, Maximiliano, Ignacio Zaragoza, and Benito Juárez.The outstanding movies that Cine Estelar will display include: El Mexicano (The Mexican), starring Jorge Rivero and Tere Velázquez, alongside Wolf Ruvinskis; El Caudillo (The Warlord), starring Luis Aguilar, Irma Serrano, Rodolfo de Anda, and Emilio “el indio” Fernández; and La Chamuscada (The Scorched), starring Luis Aguilar, Irma Serrano, Rodolfo de Anda, and Emilio “el indio” Fernández.Cine Estelar will present México Espectacular (Mexico Spectacular), a special production of the Mexican folk music with interpretations of the most famous artists of the Mexican cinema.
