Cine Mexicano celebrates Valentine’s Day with a special movie marathon that depicts love in its passionate, hilarious and even frightening nuances, including disastrous first dates, one-night stands with life-long repercussions and parents obsessed with their children’s romantic lives.

February also launches two action films about criminal organizations led by some very tough women. Cine Mexicano is well-known for its contemporary and commercial-free programmings such as rancheras, comedies, and action dramas.

The love marathon begins February 14 at 6am EST with the romantic comedy Una Gringa Para Cenar, where a young man’s perfect date plan goes totally wrong. Stars Alain Antunez and Fercho Chávez. Encores at 1:14pm and 11:23pm.

Meanwhile, a high-strung mother of two beautiful but not-so-bright daughters carries out hilarious schemes to ensure they marry affluent brothers at 7:27am and 2:41pm in Amor Didas. Starring Paty Lupercio and Julio César Álvarez from El Señor de los Cielos.

Fast and furious motorcycle action arrives at 8:37am with an encore at 3:51pm in Amor Xtremo, the story of two brothers and their quest to win a prominent race in Las Vegas. Stars Aarón Díaz of the popular mystery series Quantico and Irán Castillo from El Secreto de Selena.

Other premieres are Solteras, Extrema Obsesión, Papa Nos Quita Las Novias, and Azúcar y Sal.

February also includes the 10pm EST launch of Las Damas del Centenario on the 13th and La Sicaria on the 20th, both films featuring women involved in crime.
