CNN en Español announces new programming

CNN en Español hosted a VIP gathering at New York City’s Gansevoort Park Hotel on Wednesday May 9 to celebrate the network’s accomplishments over the last year and to unveil a slate of new programming. Cynthia Hudson, SVP and general manager of CNN en Español, and Greg D’Alba, President of CNN News Networks and Turner Digital Ad Sales and Marketing, were joined by a number of CNN en Español’s top talent including Dr. Marisa Azaret, Ismael Cala, Fernando del Rincon, Juan Carlos López, Lucia Navarro and Mercedes Soler.Hudson welcomed guests and highlighted CNN en Español’s continued evolution: “We have been really pleased with the channel’s growth over the last year. We continue to invest in new talent and programming to assure we provide our viewers with the most relevant and engaging Spanish-language news and information available.”Executive vice president of CNN Ad Sales, Katrina Cukaj, thanked advertising partners in attendance for supporting the network with their recognition of the importance of the Hispanic market. She also indicated that the demand for CNN en Español is healthy and that the network anticipates a strong Upfront. During the event, CNN en Español gave clients a preview of their latest programming additions, including Los Influyentes, Trending Topics, Latinoamérica Opina, Destinos and Oppenheimer Presenta.
