Corus Studios struck a multi-year deal in the US with streaming platform Hulu for over 400 episodes of lifestyle, renovation, unscripted, and crime content; which adds to the sale of content that the company closed last year for more than 200 chapters.
This deal, which includes the US pre-sale of Pamela’s Garden of Eden (8×60), which features the iconic star Pamela Anderson renovating her family’s home, was negotiated by Rita Carbone Fleury, Global Sales Leader for Corus Studios.
“Building on our valuable partnership with Hulu, this is Corus Studios’ largest distribution deal in the US market to date,” said Lisa Godfrey, Senior VP of Original Content at Corus Studios.
The Corus Studios sales team also includes Leyla Formoso, who represents Sales for Latin America and select European territories, and Pooja Nirmal Kant, who oversees Sales for Asia and Central and Eastern Europe.
Corus Studios’ original content team that drives its slate of lifestyle and factual series is led by Colin Bohm, Executive VP of Content and Corporate Strategy; Lisa Godfrey, Senior VP of Original Content; Krista Look, VP, Original Content, Lifestyle; and Rachel Nelson, VP, Original Content, Scripted, Factual and Children.
