Discovery en Español second most watched among Hispanic cable net for third consecutive year

Discovery en Español (DSCE) closes another winning year with a solid performance that positions the network as the second most watched Hispanic pay TV channel for the third year in a row across all major demographic groups (P18-49, M18-49, W18-49). The network ranked #1 for Sunday nights tied with Galavisión (7-11pm) with top-notch programming performances from originals such as Apocalipsis Maya and Los Hipopótamos del Capo and the viewer favorite, Discovery Presenta, which features some blue chip content including Steve Jobs: iGenius and Bin Laden: Hombre Muerto. “The network’s performance in 2011, 31% ahead of our nearest competitor among Hispanic Persons 18-49 and 36% among the coveted 18-49 males, clearly demonstrates our ability to not only attract, but retain viewers in a fiercely competitive environment. Also Apocalipsis Maya – Sun 10pm – 12/04/2011, delivered 154K Persons 18-49 and 150K Households, #1 among Hispanic Pay TV Networks with Households, #2 among Hispanic Pay TV Networks with Persons 18-49, Males 18-49 and Women 18-49.
