Europa+: Implementing programming agreement to offer RTVE’s content to LatAm

The platform Europa+ began programming content from RVTE of Spain in November.

“Subscribers have been requesting it for a long time. In this way we continue with the trend of bringing the best producers in Europe. We bring some very high quality productions and we are super happy,” said Rubén Mendiola, general director of Europa+.

After a whole year in the market, Europa+ is available in pay TV operators such as Claro video in Brazil, Nuevo Siglo and ATC in Uruguay and has just closed an agreement with Telecentro in Argentina.

“We closed an important agreement with Telecentro, where the operator is covering the cost of Europa+ to offer it to Tele Play subscribers. We are very happy with how the platform has been received,” he said.

Mendiola added that before the end of the year they will be in Mexico and will soon be closing a deal with another pan-regional operator.

“The year 2023 is coming strong with many countries joining the platform,” he concluded.
