F1 Latinoamérica channel arrives to LatAm on March 1

Mediapro, which owns the TV rights to Formula 1 for Latin America (except Brazil), has announced the launch of F1 Latinoamérica channel, which will provide all the excitement and glamour surrounding the competition 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. F1 Latinoamérica will be available on payment platforms in all countries beginning March 1°., 2015. Viewers will have the best access in following the competition linked to the automotive world and the highest quality. The experience and professionalism of Mediapro Group are guaranteed, according to Gerard Romy, head of International Departament: “With 20 years producing all sporting events behind us, the new channel will extensively cover the expectations of fans both for its technical quality and the interest of its many aspects.”Everything that happens in the major categories of motorsport, with exclusive content, will be in F1 Latinoamérica: 20 hours of live coverage all weekend, including the grand prix of F1, GP2 and GP3 (practices, qualifiers and races), as well as pre and post broadcasting of the grand prix. Viewers may also follow the grand prix and all programming of F1 Latinoamérica whenever they want to by downloading the app SecondScreen; and through an OTT platform that will allow each viewer to choose the general plan of the circuit they prefer or follow the race from cameras installed in the helmets of the drivers.
