Focus in 2020 will be brand experiences

2020 will be for HBO a year of the release of new original productions starring great talents. These include The Outsider, with Jason Bateman; The undoing, featuring Nicole Kidman, Hugh Grant, and Donald Sutherland; I Know This Is Much True, starring Mark Ruffalo, and Avenue Five, with Hugh Laurie in the lead role.

Among the Latin American productions that will also be released are: the 5th season of Chumel con Chumel Torres; Entre Hombres, the miniseries made in Argentina based on the novel by Germán Maggiori; Todxs Nosotrxs, the new original Brazilian series that addresses issues of the LGBTQIA + community; the Spanish production Patria, and the Colombian series Mil Colmillos.

The first quarter of the year will see the rebranding of the MAX channels within the HBO brand. “2020 will be of great premieres, but it will also a year in which we will focus even more on subscriber experiences with the brand, especially in the digital environment” said Gustavo Grossmann, Corporate VP of Networks at HBO Latin America, highlighting recent releases such as a series of exclusive podcasts on major fictions, such as the one released on Watchmen, the HBO Extras application.

"Whether through our new original productions, exclusive documentaries or blockbuster films, our focus is, and always will be, to have a diverse and high-quality catalog, with a close relationship with our audience” Grossmann added.
