Fusion -the news, pop culture and satire TV & digital network from ABC and Univision – unveiled a beta version of its website Fusion.net on October 21. It will be a part of the Yahoo-ABC News Network, the leader of news and information online. Aimed at a young, digital, and diverse America, Fusion.net Beta – a mobile-responsive site – will deliver information through sharp, well-founded opinions, original reporting, humor, and dynamic personalities with a distinctive point-of-view. It will be an incubator for innovation and will continually evolve as Fusion develops an enterprise app and a watch app that will go live in 2014. “Over 80% of millennials sleep with their phones next to their beds every night because they don’t want to miss a beat. We want to be the ones they wake up with. This beta site will help lay the building blocks as we continue to develop our digital properties,” said Fusion CEO Isaac Lee. “We’re going to make .net cool again. We see it as the Williamsburg of domains,” said Billy Kimball, Fusion’s Chief Programming Officer. Fusion.net will also feature original content from each of its programs airing on TV including The Morning Show (@Fusion Morning / #FusionMorning), DNA (@DNAtv / #DNAtv), Alicia Menéndez Tonight (@AliciaMenendez / #AMTonight) and Open Source with León Krauze (@OpenSourceTV / #OpenSourceTV.
