“Spain is a very important and strategic market for Globo, that is why we have reinforced our wide catalog of productions dubbed into Spanish with shocking stories, capable of moving, empathizing, and connecting with the country's public. Attractive and diverse productions that cover the demands of Spanish audiences, to offer the best solutions in content and generating value to our local partners,” said Angela Colla, Globo's Head of International Sales.
Titles include the telenovelas Éramos Seis, Suerte de Vivir and Dulce Ambición, as well as the original series Globoplay Bajo presión (a three-season medical series), Aruanas (an ecological thriller), En el Nombre de Dios (a six-episode docuserie), which had an excellent impact and audience in different territories of the world.
Suerte de Vivir has been a success in Uruguay (led Teledoce’s Adults 18-49 strips and was the third most-watched title in the country). The show traveled the world on channels such as Teletica in Costa Rica, STV in Mozambique, RTC in Cape Verde, and Pay TV in Portugal (it was one of the most-watched programs on pay-TV and increased the audience of its time slot by 30%).
Dulce Ambición, written by Walcyr Carrasco, had a great audience performance in Uruguay (Teledoce), Bolivia (Red Uno), Mexico (Imagen TV), Univision (Puerto Rico) and Israel (Viva). It recently arrived in Argentina, on Telefe, and premiered at 4:15 pm, leading with 11.29 points and a 58.96% share.
Éramos Seis meanwhile, is a 50-episode classic family drama about a matriarch who struggles to maintain unity and harmony between her children and her husband.
