Great opportunity for Latin American writers

Juliana Agosto, the founder of Content CreaXions WorldWide, is delivering an international online production course from the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory (Lapac) in Santa Monica, where she teaches writers, directors, actors from Latin America and the whole world to understand the industry business. Agosto, who took part in #PRODUprimetime with Ríchard Izarra said that she believes in the global market a great deal. 

“I think there is a great opportunity for writers if they start to understand the industry business. If they understand how to sell themselves, how to work in other markets, not only is there a lot more work for them, but they will become fresh, new voices the market doesn´t have and is always seeking, but you must understand the business,” commented Agosto, a writer with 20 years of experience in production, 14 of which she spent with Azteca in Mexico before returning to Los Angeles where she is based.

Agosto is developing together with the actress and singer María Conchita Alonso her biography. “Maria Conchita has a very interesting story to tell, especially for those TV bioseries, because she brings an international career path: it starts in Venezuela, after that, continued in Hollywood, she then went to Mexico and at her age, looks marvelous. She is a very admired woman and was a pioneer of Latina women in Hollywood. She even took part in blockbusters with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Keaton, at a time when it wasn’t typical to do so,” she said.
