2018 has been a year of growth and consolidation for Imagina International Sales’ products in the international market.
Todo Por El Juego, a Mediapro and DIRECTV Latin America thriller began its international journey in Sky Mexico. Estoy Vivo has become a phenomenon in Spain, where it’s in its second season, and this format has been sold to CBS in an Anglo-Saxon version (screenwriter David Wilcox is developing the adaptation of the project).
In addition, Pulsaciones has become the first series from Spain to be broadcast on the open Arabic network MBC and has also been sold in the United Kingdom (Channel 4) and Mexico (TV Azteca).
Other shows that stand out are the adaptation of the 100 Balas series; El Chiringuito de Pepe, in Mexico (Imagen TV); B & B and Vis a Vis (both of Globomedia), sold to Greek network ERT; and the documentary Messi, a biopic of the soccer star produced by Mediapro, which has been broadcast in more than 50 countries.
