To learn about the latest in next generation marketing, such as influencers, technology, new media and big data, is one of the 10 reasons offered on Twitter by Isaac Mizrahi (@IsaacMizrahi2go) -Co-President and Creative Chief at ALMA and Co-Chairman of the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies - for attending the upcoming annual meeting of the organization that will be held in Chicago from June 12th-14th.
According to Mizrahi, AHAA conference is one of the few independent conferences in the industry. “There is no other agenda but to focus on our industry” tweeted the creative. “To hear a variety of voices, including more clients than ever before and numerous non-AHAA members who are all experts in their fields” is another reason, according to the executive.
From the group of panelists, Mizrahi highlighted the participation of the advertising legend Keith Reinhard from DDB Worldwide, sharing how creativity and storytelling still matter in this digital age; the political commentator Ana Navarro; and CNN anchor Juan Carlos López, who will discuss Trump's presidency and its impact on our society; Miguel Cervantes, lead in the production of Hamilton -produced in Chicago-, sharing his experience as a Latino actor in non-Latino roles.
Brands and agencies such as Avocados from Mexico, Coca-Cola, Denny's, DishLatino, Ford, Kaiser Permanente, StarcomMediavest, Remezcla, T-Mobile and MetroPCS will be onstage. Also, that new studies will be presented by Nielsen, Mintel and Culturati.
In the event, they will honor AHAA's Hall of Fame and Rising Stars inductees and recognize the 2017 Marketer of the Year, title that this edition goes to the Ford Motor Company, mentioned Mizrahi.
