J2911 Media closed deal with Tubi platform

The distribution company J2911 Media closed a deal with the AVOD Tubi platform, that is incorporating titles such as Birdwatcher (A vista de pájaros), María Pérez vs. Los Superhéroes, the docuseries Searching for a King (5×30´), Following the Messiah (10×30´), Huevokids, Las Aventuras del Tío (Uncle Rabbit Tales), Canarias Submarina, Naufragios, Aventura 4×4, Searching for Beati Paoli, and more.

“The content is focused on the Mexican territory where Tubi has recently entered, but they are available in the US, Canada, and Australia. Albeit some of them are only in Spanish, others are in English but have subtitles in Spanish, as is the case of the docuseries, Following the Messiah, Searching for a King and the docufilm Searching for Beati Paoli,” said Vivian Reinoso, responsible for Acquisitions, Distribution and New Businesses at J2911 Media.

She furthered that this agreement is truly relevant because Tubi is one of the main AVOD platforms in the US. “We are happy that our content interested them and is part of the titles with which Tubi has counted on for its entrance into Mexico. Additionally, we are pleased to have achieved this agreement directly, without the intermediation of aggregators,” she detailed.
