Jack Alfandary leaves FremantleMedia Latin America after an illustrious career

Alfandary had a long and productive career at Fremantle

After almost 10 years at FremantleMedia, Jack Alfandary, SVP for Latin America and U.S. Hispanic, announced his voluntary departure from the company. He expressed being happy and satisfied with his tenure there and said its time to look for other horizons.Alfandary had a long and productive career at Fremantle, having produced over 12 versions of Idol (including Idolos Brasil, Idol Puerto Rico, Idol Kids Puerto Rico, as well as Idol Latin America), three versions of Project Runway in the region, as well as other more recent projects for the U.S. Hispanic market with MundoFOX: 100 Latinos Dijeron (Family Feud) and El Factor X.Over the past four years, he has also been heading Emerging Business for Latin America and U.S. Hispanic.FremantleMedia will soon announce the outcome of its restructuring, with one of the first changes being the departure of Carlos González, former general director for Latin America and U.S. Hispanic.Alfandary joined FremantleMedia in January of 2004 as VP of Licensing and Business Development. Prior to that, he was Senior Director of Strategic Marketing and Business Development of BMG Entertainment.
