After the launch of the bilingual global networks Tutele and Tutele Dos, aimed at bicultural audiences, Jai Bugarin, head of Bilingual Programming, spoke to PRODU regarding the public’s response and the importance of developing a platform dedicated to the Hispanic community in the U.S.“This new entertainment concept was designed to satisfy the growing demand of fresh, original, and innovative content for the Spanish-speaking, English-speaking, and bilingual Hispanic audiences. This market has grown 43% in the last 10 years. Here at Tutele, our goal is to develop content specifically designed for this audience since it is a segment often overlooked by the industry of online entertainment,” said Bugarin. The executive pointed out the public’s response has been positive, registering a high number of visits for their programming, which they adjust according to audience requirements. Bugarin said they are working in collaboration with YouTube on everything related to relevant brand integrations for the network.“Our goal is to become the largest Internet network to offer a variety of bilingual original programming that can entertain, educate and inspire a wide range of viewers worldwide. At the same time we offer our talent the necessary tools so they can have absolute creative control, helping them develop and establish a unique brand,” added Bugarin.
