Jorge Plasencia of Republica Havas: If you don’t invest in the multicultural market, your brand will soon be irrelevant

República Havas CEO Jorge Plasencia says that today's multicultural market speaks volumes through its numbers and continuing growth.
“The important thing about this is that the numbers are there,” he said. “They are proof of our purchasing power, how big we are as a community, how we are in all the big cities in the U.S. and how we are growing in the smaller ones, so that presidents, CM0s and the chairs of boards of directors realize that if they don’t invest in the multicultural market, their brands will be irrelevant in the next few years.”
He noted that “brands that don’t invest in our market today or tomorrow are brands that will be irrelevant in the future, because this country is becoming a majority-minority nation. What I mean is that Hispanics, African Americans, Asians, and non-Hispanics of European descent are increasingly intermarrying, so that multicultural families will continue to increase and multiply. We are here to stay, we are growing and you must invest," Plasencia warned.
