Karen Barroeta of La Suerte de Loli, Fiction Grand Prix: It is important that an industry leader such as PRODU recognize our work

La Suerte de Loli was bestowed with the Fiction Grand Prix at the PRODU Awards Gala. The Telemundo team, represented by Karen Barroeta, Miguel Varoni, Ximena Cantuarias and Elizabeth Suárez celebrated the award. “For us, it is very valuable that such an important reference in the industry as PRODU recognize our work. We are very happy and honored,” said Barroeta, Executive VP of Production and Development for Telemundo Global Studios.

Other nominated productions include: Inteligencia Animal (Pakapaka / Pakapaka, Planta Alta); El Ristorantino de Arnoldo (Disney Junior, Disney+ / Non Stop, The Walt DIsney Company Latin America); Enemigo Íntimo 2 (Telemundo/ Argos, Telemundo Global Studios); Club 57 2 (Nickelodeon Latin America / Viacom International Studios); ¿Quién mató a Sara? (Netflix / Perro Azul); Monarca 2 (Netflix / Lemon Studios, Ventanarosa), and De Brutas Nada (Pantaya, Amazon Prime Video / Sony Pictures Television).

According to Boris Izaguirre, these finalists “represent all the fiction content that a television channel can have, since there is everything, from comedy, children’s programs, to suspense … a complete programming.”
