La Suerte de Loli currently in production

Telemundo announced the full cast for the new romantic comedy, La Suerte de Loli (Loli’s Fate), slated to premiere in early 2021 and that will have as one of the executive producers Karen Barroeta, EVP of Production and Development for Telemundo Global Studios, for the first time.

The series, which kicked off production last week and is currently filming at Telemundo Center, stars beloved Mexican actress, Silvia Navarro (Dad Wanted, The Candidate) in the title role alongside Osvaldo Benavides (Monarca, The Perfect Dictatorship), Gaby Espino (Playing with Fire, La Santa Diabla), Joaquín Ferreira (Yo, Potro, Club de Cuervos), Mariana Seoane (The Inmate, Lord of the Skies) and Rodrigo Vidal (Amigas y Rivales, Hasta Que el Dinero nos Separe); with special performances by Jacky Bracamontes (La Voz, Sortilegio), Carlos Ponce (Couples Retreat, Cristela), Jeimy Osorio (Celia, One Day at a Time, Fast Five) and Jesús Moré (Lord of the Skies, El Chema).

“A family-friendly rom-com, La Suerte de Loli will capture the heart of our audience across the U.S. with contemporary storylines and memorable characters,” said Barroeta.

An original story by Lorena Miraglia and María José Riera, the rom-com was developed and written by Ricardo Álvarez and Amaris Páez. La Suerte de Loli is directed by Miguel Varoni, Danny Gavidia and Richard Schwarz. Elizabeth Suárez serves as General Producer and Barroeta and Marcos Santana hold the executive producer roles for Telemundo Global Studios.
