La Usurpadora reaches 2.8 million Viewers 2+

Friday night’s conclusion of La Usurpadora, the first in a series of timeless classic novelas reimagined by Univision for today’s audience, reached 2.8 million Total Viewers 2+, who tuned in to all or part of the one-hour telecast. Airing at 9pm ET/8pm CT, La Usurpadora averaged 1.8 million Total Viewers 2+, 790,000 Adults 18-49 and 355,000 Adults 18-34, making it the highest-rated primetime novela/series finale on the Univision network in 2019 to-date.

The series finale out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC, and The CW in the 9pm hour among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. La Usurpadora was also the second and fourth most-watched program on broadcast television on Friday night with Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, respectively.

During its full 25-episode run, La Usurpadora averaged 1.7 million Total Viewers 2+, 721,000 Adults 18-49 and 305,000 Adults 18-34. The program made Univision the No. 1 Spanish-language network in the weeknight 9pm hour, outperforming Telemundo across all three key demographic groups. La Usurpadora also ranks as the highest-rated primetime novela/series on the Univision network since Mi Marido Tiene Familia among Adults 18-49.
