Juan José Díaz, Senior Manager at Boomerang TV, commented that they are immersed in the shooting of Alba, inspired by the Turkish series Fatmagül and “that it will be one of Antena 3´s big bets on fiction for the next season”.

Additionally, they resumed the shootings of Acacias 38 and they are very excited with the launch of Inés del Alma Mía (a co-production of Boomerang TV, RTVE, and Chilevisión), that will be on Amazon Prime Video Spain and will soon be seen on open TV on RTVE and Chilevisión. He feels that this fiction has opened the path to a formula that will allow producers and operators to think about quality fiction products while they share risks and benefits.

“I am convinced that we will have increasingly more bridges towards joint and global production”.

They also have in the post-production process, La Templanza, original series by Amazon Prime Video, which they produced with Atresmedia Studios, an adaptation of the novel by María Dueñas, with whom they already worked on El Tiempo entre Costuras, “that has had a great international tour”.

He explained that they are a great production factory. “Some of the projects that are more advanced are the ones created by Salvador Calvo. The famous director joined Boomerang TV a few months ago” and has developed three films for platforms together with the scriptwriter Alejandro Hernández.

Díaz added that they closed a deal with ITV Studios that grants Boomerang TV exclusive production rights for all of ITV Studios entertainment formats available in Spain.
