Clarifying that NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises will hold its Upfront later on in the year, Mónica Gil, CMO, and Executive VP of the company lead the online video presentation of Telemundo Update in which she highlighted the network`s speed of response to the new situation of the pandemic. She mentioned initiatives such as Concierto en Casa, the daily morning show En Casa con Telemundo and the expansion of the live coverage with the night newscast by Julio Vaqueiro dedicated to the coronavirus and 12 hours of news and entertainment news from Monday to Friday.

Gil, who for the first time assumed the leadership of these presentations in the light of the change in César Conde´s position -he is now President of NBCUniversal News Group-, commented that today´s Hispanics "are voracious omnichannel consumers who take part in all the platforms and want dynamic content that reflects their youth, values, and cultural experience".
“After three consecutive years as the leading network in Spanish from Monday to Friday in primetime, Telemundo continues leading in digital platforms,” she explained. She said that in streaming, Telemundo was tripled thanks to properties such as El Señor de los Cielos, La Doña and Pasión Prohibida.

Additionally, she spoke about the nation-wide scope campaign Nuestros Negocios, on all the group`s platforms to support the small and medium companies of Latina property affected by the pandemic and to highlight its services.
