Netflix announced that its next original series in Latin America will be Ingobernable (20x60), starring the Mexican actress Kate del Castillo.Del Castillo will play the main part, Irene Urzúa, the wife of the Mexican President. This woman has a strong character, she is firmly grounded and has her own ideas, which soon start rocking the foundations of the Palacio Nacional. I am absolutely in love with this character. It is challenging, risky and attractive. Both the script as well as the cast are excellent and it doesnt resemble any other role Ive played in the past, said del Castillo."Netflix is committed to making original quality series for Mexico, the US, Latin America and the world. We are thrilled to be working with Kate del Castillo, one of the most talented stars in Latin America, said Ted Sarandos, Content Director at Netflix. The series, which will be produced by the production Company Argos and directed by José Luis García Agraz and Pablo Ibarra Pitipol, will start being shot at the beginning of 2016 and will be launched that same year. The Alazraki Productions series was created by Gaz Alazraki and Mike Lam; in the Executive Production, together with them are Leonardo Zimbrón and Jay Dyer; and it is produced by Moisés Chiver and Mónica Vargas.
