Paramount+ introduced its original content made in Mexico and Brazil: Cecilia, At Midnight, Los Enviados, and No Te Claves

JC Acosta, president of ViacomCBS International Studios & Southern Europe, Latin America, Middle East, and Africa Networks, hosted the Paramount+ Forum event to promote the original content made in Mexico and Brazil that will premiere in December and 2022. He assured that they believe in the contents and in the countries where they were made. “Today is the day we will take an exclusive look at the Paramount+ Originals coming for this year and next,” he said.

Los Enviados presentation included its director, the renowned Juan José Campanella, along with the leading actors of the thriller, Luis Gerardo Méndez and Irene Azuela, and Miguel Rodarte. The Spanish actor Miguel Ángel Silvestre and also with a leading role participated through a video. The series addresses the need to find answers to unanswered questions, as well as faith and science. It is an action thriller about the mission of two Vatican priests who travel to Mexico to verify the alleged miraculous healings of another cleric, however, upon arriving they discover that the miraculous priest has disappeared. Premieres on Sunday 12.

Cecilia, made in Mexico, features Mariana Treviño, with the leading role; Michelle Brown; Marimar Vega, and César Bono. “It is a very authentic series that addresses a universal theme, the family,” said Treviño. “It is a story that forces an introspection of the content with a very cinematographic vision”. It’s about the story of Cecilia, a woman who is the pillar of her family, and how it collapses when she suffers a stroke. Tragedy turns into opportunity by forcing the rest of the family to find tools to be self-reliant. Cecilia premieres on December 21.

Diego Boneta presented At Midnight, the first film he made with his production house Three Amigos. It is a romantic comedy that seeks to show the best of Mexico and the best of Hollywood, according to Boneta, in addition to making winks to several classic American romantic comedies. Along with Bonetta were the protagonist Mónica Bárbaro and the director Jonah Feingold. The film is about to start filming in Mexico City and the Riviera Maya.

Karla Farfán, Jerónimo Best, and Daniel García, the talent who dub the voices of the animated Christmas special No Te Claves, which is a parody tone narrates the life of the adolescent Jesus and the typical conflicts of that age, presented the production, which premieres on Wednesday 15.
