Paramount+ presented El Primero de Nosotros, Medusa, At Midnight and other new content

Paramount+ held the first Paramount+ Forum for the Hub LatAm Sur in Buenos Aires, where more than 30 talents introduced the platform’s new content: El Primero de Nosotros, Medusa, Los Enviados, Bosé, At Midnight, Amor es Amor, The Offer, Super Pumped and Halo, among the main ones.

The renowned presenter Alejandro “Marley” Wiebe, star of the Paramount+ original Marley & Mirko, hosted the event.

The actress Soledad Villamil and the director Jazmín Stuart presented Medusa, a suspenseful police film that is being recorded in Argentina.

Benjamín Vicuña, Paola Krum, Luciano Castro, Jorgelina Aruzzi, Damián de Santo and Mercedes Funes talked about El Primero de Nosotros, the first fiction produced by VIS for the Hub LatAm Sur, which will be available on the platform and on Telefe on the 21st of March.

The director and screenwriter Juan José Campanella introduced Los Enviados, a Paramount+ original series that premieres its second season in 2022. Its leading actors, Luis Gerardo Méndez and Miguel Ángel Silvestre, sent a virtual greeting.

Diego Boneta also joined virtually to present At Midnight; while Rob Schneider introduced Amor es Amor; and Iván Sánchez and José Pastor, the biopic Bosé.

The first original Paramount+ film shot in Argentina, El Gerente, was also presented. Ariel Winograd (El Robo del Siglo, Mamá se fue de Viaje) will be responsible for the direction, and starring Leonardo Sbaraglia. It is a comedy based on the book “El Gerente”, Noblex.

In addition, ten years after the premiere of Graduados, a gathering of its protagonists was announced. On the other hand, mention was made of the 20 years of Los Simuladores, a series that was broadcast nine times in primetime and was versioned in Mexico, Russia, Chile and Spain.

In addition to the Spanish-language originals of Paramount+, was the introduction of Halo, a series based on the iconic Xbox franchise, a Showtime production in association with 343 Industries and Amblin Television. Other English productions that were highlighted include Super Pumped, which focused on the history of Uber; and The Offer, which portrays Francis Ford Coppola’s difficulties in making The Godfather.

New children’s programming was also announced, such as the next season of Kamp Koral, and Paw Patrol: The Movie.

Darío Turovelzky, SVP, general director Paramount Hub LatAm Sur, who reported that Paramount+ has more than 8 thousand hours of content, was in charge of closing the event.
