When Ilyas comes back into the picture determined to win back his family, Asiye is left torn between her love of both men. The series, which tackles themes of love, loyalty, and personal growth, proved popular with international audiences.
In the U.S., Pasiones premiered Fugitiva on Wednesday, August 19. A heart-wrenching and engrossing series, Fugitiva tackles the issues of domestic violence and traditional gender roles as it follows the life of Nefes, a young woman and domestic violence victim who manages to escape the clutches of her abuser after 8 long years and numerous attempts. A resilient and determined woman devoted to finding a better life for her son, Nefes leans on Tahir, a compassionate and respectful man who loves her profoundly and supports her character and autonomy.
