Suspension of non-essential activities and related procedures in Mexico City have been extended until August 9th

The Comisión de Filmaciones in Mexico City reported that the suspension of permits for filming and audiovisual production activities in the city has been extended from June 1 to August 9, to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

In accordance with the Quinto Acuerdo (Fifth Agreement), that deals with the suspension of administrative procedures and paperwork, granting facilities, and the Sexto Acuerdo (Sixth Agreement), that establishes the guidelines for the gradual plan towards new normality, as well as creating the Monitoring Committee, published in the Official Gazette of Mexico City on May 29, together with the actions implemented by Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum, Head of Government at Mexico City, to control and combat the virus, as well as for public health reasons, and abiding with the Semáforo Epidemiológico (Epidemiologic Light) established by the Secretary of Health in place of the Secretaría de la Salud, extends the suspension of non-essential activities, as well as with procedures such as the reception of documents and reports, verification visits, customer service through a window, request for reports or documents, as well as any other administrative act issued by public servers.

Therefore, the Comisión de Filmaciones de CDMX will cease its functions and will be unable to receive documents that have to do with permissions or ads or any others thanks to not finding it among the essential activities.
