Hispanics continue driving culture and consumption like super streamers, said Peter Blacker, EVP Revenue Strategy & Innovation at NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.
Blacker made several announcements including the relaunch of the Telemundo video player for watching complete episodes "and the results speak for themselves, thanks to a cleaner experience that is easier to discover, our premium content is generating 250% more streams than a year ago”.
Commented that they are duplicating their live event strategy on social networks with Bilboards, Latin American Music Awards, among others. “Telemundo was one of the first traditional media companies in recognizing the power of live events and social networks. Not long ago we were recognized as the first in crossed-platform actions among all the open TV networks, regardless of the language," he highlighted.
In third place he reported that Latinx Now!, the first weekly and multiplatform bilingual show made together with E! Entertainment, will go from being weekly to being daily.
In fourth place, Blacker mentioned the expansion of the social experience Secret Salsa to become the entire company's gastronomic platform, on social networks, digital and linear. This will be displayed during the festivities season.
