“Restriction to mobility and gatherings limit production possibilities, especially shooting processes. Pre-production and post-production stages can be done remotely, but shootings have stopped. Animation production continues distantly. Voice recordings can be resolved remotely as long as the voice actor or announcer have a home-studio” comments Boris Abaunza, Creative Director of Épica Studio.

“This is a time to plan, prepare, and reconsider strategies. Meeting scenarios such as markets, fairs, and festivals have been canceled worldwide or are being postponed. We no longer have the possibility of visiting potential clients in person. Plans for this year and the next one must be studied and adapted to the new reality. However, there are still many uncertainties regarding what can happen in the future, therefore we cannot make definite decisions”.

“These weeks have been overloaded with information and speculation. The truth is that no one knows yet how long the quarantine will last, what the economic impact will be, how the State and company budgets will be rearranged, and if the audience´s consumption habits will change definitely or if we are simply in a pause of everyday activities. Perhaps in two weeks or a month, the scenario will be clearer”.
