Premier League’s 2019-20 season resumes this Wednesday, June 17 with exclusive, Spanish-language coverage across Telemundo, Universo, and Telemundo Deportes’ digital platforms.

Coverage kicks off with a doubleheader featuring second-place Manchester City hosting Arsenal at 3pm ET on Universo as Guardiola’s team seek a win to keep the title race against Liverpool alive. The match will be preceded by Aston Villa vs. Sheffield United at 1pm ET on the Telemundo Deportes app.

Following Wednesday’s kick-off, Telemundo Deportes will present 18 matches through July 2 with the first full round weekend beginning Friday, June 19 at 3:15pm ET when Tottenham host Manchester United live on Universo.

On Saturday, Brighton Hove Albion faces Arsenal live on Universo at 10am ET followed by Telemundo’s first broadcast West Ham vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers at 12:30 p.m. ET featuring Mexican Wolves’ star Raul Jimenez.

On Sunday, Telemundo presents a doubleheader starting at 11:15am ET when fourth-place Chelsea visit Aston Villa. Action will be followed by the Merseyside Derby Everton vs. Liverpool at 2pm ET as first-place Liverpool continue their run to their first championship in England’s top flight in 30 years, with just six points away from clinching the PL title.

Coverage of the full round weekend concludes Monday, June 22 with Manchester City hosting Burnley, live on Universo at 3pm ET.

As Premier League returns with no fans in the stadiums, Telemundo Deportes’ production will offer viewers an enhanced experience, with the opportunity to hear everything said by players, referees, and coaches on the field.

For the first time, the natural sound will be clearly captured by ground-level microphones and delivered as main audio in all the games, along with Spanish play-by-play and commentary. As an option, for those viewers that prefer crowd sounds following live-action, an alternative will be available via SAP, adding the excitement of atmospheric pre-recorded audio provided by Premier League and EA Sports.

As part of Telemundo Deportes’ PL kick off coverage, the sports division also celebrates Andrés Cantor’s 20th anniversary with the company.
