Producers of Latin American series showed joy on social networks over an article in The New York Times that recommended watching on Netflix six series made in Latin America.

Celia (FoxTelecolombia and RCN), La Reina del Sur (Telemundo), Nicky Jam: El Ganador (Endemol Shine Boomdog), La Casa de las Flores (Manolo Caro), Brotherhood (02 Films Brazil) and La Reina del Flow (Caracol and Sony) were the series that the journalist Concepción de León from The New York Times in its edition in English suggested watching during the confinement.

“Unforgettable production experience that continues conquering followers,” wrote on his LinkedIn page the producer Nelson Martínez from FOXTelecolombia, who managed the realization of Celia in 2015. Sergio Pizzolante from C&T Mobbs one of the producers of Nicky Jam: El Ganador copied on his Instagram account the comment on his series made by the journalist. “Absolutely proud to be part of this list with #Celiacruz” wrote Samuel Duque D., president of FOXTelecolombia and Estudios TeleMéxico.

The journalist Concepción de León is part of the newspaper´s plant personnel. She writes on books and literature, and also has a column aimed at the Latinx audience, as they call Hispanics who grew up in the US.
