Viacom International Studios (VIS) signed a deal with Univision to broadcast the reality show Resistiré (I Will Survive). The show airs Monday through Friday at 9pm ET/PT (8pm Centro) on Univision’s sister network UniMás.

The innovative survival series of 95 episodes was inspired by the original MTV show, Stranded with a Million Dollars. Resistiré filmed in Chile features Facundo Gómez, talented Mexican television host and comedian, and Chilean television star, Diana Bolocco.

“The arrival of Resistiré to the US Hispanic audience through Univision reflects the efforts of VIS to develop and produce quality content that transcends borders and crosses markets. The result of working together with MTV, Mega, and Azteca, allows this project to continue to win audiences, with high-quality production and innovative twists along the way,” said Guillermo Borenzstein, VP of Content Sales and Co-productions of Viacom International Studios Americas.

In March of this year, this same version of Resistiré was released with great success in Chile on Mega, Mexico on Azteca 7 and seen throughout Latin America on MTV.
