Rick Alessandri joins Univision Communications as SVP of Business Development

Univision Communications Inc. announced that Rick Alessandri has joined the company as senior vice president of Business Development. Alessandri will lead the charge on creating and expanding a variety of new revenue streams for the company. He will be based in New York and report to Randy Falco, EVP and COO.“Rick Alessandri’s bottom line orientation will be an important asset to Univisión as we look to expand the company while creating a variety of new revenue streams both on- and off-air. Rick is recognized for his successful track record of nurturing existing brands while turning them into new franchises,” said Falco.Previously Alessandri spent more than 10 years in various roles at ESPN, Inc., culminating with his roles as senior vice president and managing director for the X Games franchise and senior vice president for ESPN Enterprises and consumer products.
