RTVE: We closed the deal with Olympusat’s Vemox OTT solution with an excellent catalogue for Mip Cancún

Corporación Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE) consolidated alliance with the new OTT platform, Vemox, with six titles from its catalogue; it also includes the second season of Victor Ros and the third season of La Sonata del Silencio and new productions for the Latin American market in the upcoming Mip Cancún in Mexico.

Tony Pérez, International Sales and Business Development Manager at RTVE said to PRODU: “We closed a deal for the Spanish-speaking US market with the Vemox OTT platform, starting with six titles, that are La Sonata del Silencio, Isabel, Víctor Ros and Carlos, Rey Emperador, additionally, there are more plans for the future”.

Pérez highlighted that precisely during the recent Mipcom and for Mip Cancún, in Mexico, these productions are a strong bet for the Latin American market, “TVE will take La Sonata del Silencio, that depicts Madrid at the end of the 1940s through Marta, Rafael and Antonio: three characters whose relation is covered with threats, secrets, and betrayal. Based on the homonymous novel by Paloma Sánchez-Garnica”.

Regarding the second season of Víctor Ros, the executive highlighted it is an adaptation of the second book of the story, and that on this occasion it has 14 episodes, as opposed to the first that had 6. Additionally, they will have the third season of El Ministerio del Tiempo, that is already in post-production phase, but they continue to sell the first and second seasons.
