Snap TV: Family content the most sought-after

Since isolation began, many television channels were forced to interrupt their shootings of fiction and entertainment, although the latter are gradually resuming their shootings with the necessary precautions. This has generated the need to resort to canned products. 

“Today, they are supplied with whatever they have in stock, but this archive is finite and they will need to renovate it. At the same time, since they are going through complex economic and financial situations, it is necessary to reach flexible agreements to collaborate with content procurement” said Diana Coifman, VP Sales and Distribution at Snap TV.

She highlighted that family content is currently the most sought-after due to the presence of children and entire families in their homes and it is a trend that will grow because the situation almost the entire planet is going through will leave the consolidation of new habits in families: to gather around the TV (The entire family) is a habit that has gained renewed vigor and will remain in time.

“For our part, the most important thing is to continue accompanying our clients in these moments, facilitating acquisition processes with everything that is at our reach, taking care of the peculiarities that arise in each case,” he said.

The Snap TV team is working from their homes and holding daily meetings according to teams and general ones twice or three times per week, and with clients, they maintain the same communication as before the quarantine, except for physical presence.
