After the success of their OTT channel, FlixLatino, Somos Next is preparing the launch of the linear version.
“We are evaluating where to launch it. We have had several conversations with distributors, but are analyzing who offers the best conditions to be able to go out,” commented Luis Guillermo Villanueva, COO from Somos Next.
For Villanueva the most important thing now is OTT. “For us it is very important to distribute our channels with our partners, with those who are best aligned with our programming, our audience and who represent our values. We took Pingüinitos and FlixLatino through any distribution platform. Now, we are partners of Google Play as well as Amazon and Apple.”
