Addressing the peculiarities of the OTT platform, Grupo Somos created a company -Somos Next- and a specific brand –FlixLatino- which they hope to develop towards the future. Luis Guillermo Villanueva, COO of the company is leading the operational management of Somos Next, and together with a young team will manage everything related with the handling of content, customer service, marketing and promotion of the company.“As an entertainment company Somos has to be strategically present in all the platforms, especially one in which they aim to satisfy an forming audience. He said that if measurements justify it they will produce original programming for these platforms. “OTT content offers great production flexibility in terms of costs”.
